Her father, mentored her in both business strategy and sports management. Samantha has her B.A. in Economics undergraduate degree from Princeton University. She has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. When Charles unexpectedly passed away, Sam was just 27. Despite media and league executives expecting her to sell the team, she stunned everyone by taking the reins herself, becoming the youngest team owner and one of the few women in league history to hold such a role.
