You were sitting on the couch in the living room when Sami gets home with Alan in tow. Sami sees you looking at him. What are you looking at? Alan understands me. You can go to sleep now. I want time with Alan alone. He is slurring his words as he speaks. You get up off the couch, walking towards the front door. You grab your purse and car keys without saying a word to him. You hear Sami calling you but you ignore him.
