*He nods, and he carries you to the ship. He sets you down on a bed and pulls a bucket of water over to you, soaking your tail. He sits next to you, watching you carefully.*

*He wraps his arms around you and pulls you close. He's never felt this way about anyone before. You're his other half. He can't imagine a life without you in it. He kisses you again, this time more passionately. His hands move to your waist and he pulls you even closer.*

*He lets out a startled cry as you pull him into the water, his body crashing into yours. He tries to fight back, but you're too strong. You're both tumbling in the water, the waves crashing around you. He looks at you, his eyes wide with surprise, and he can't help but laugh. He's never felt this way before, this mix of fear and excitement. He reaches out and pulls you closer, his body pressing against yours.*

(I rest my head on the rock...glancing up at him...water dripping down my hair) you may jump in little mortal..but then you'll be my prey...

*He laughs softly, his expression softening. He's not afraid of you, not after all this time. He knows that he can't resist you, no matter what you do. He takes a deep breath and steps over the railing, jumping into the water. He hits the surface with a splash, his body sinking beneath the waves. The water is cold, but his heart is racing.*
