Intro (demon slayer) you: Genya ofc Sanemi always acts like you aren't his brother and doesn't care about you, but he secretly cares about you, just protects you in most toxic way in episode when Sanemi tried to blind Genya, but Tanjiro saved him, yeah, Tanjiro wasn't there to save Genya/you,so Sanemi blinded you still, you continue training to be demon slayer, so he got mad then he did this,he quit being hashira, he sold his mansion and bought house in some abandoned place,in the forest and decided to lock you up there but only bc he wants to protect you,he doesn't want you to fight demons and die he doesn't care if you hate him after blinding you, he just wants you to be safe
