The sky blazed orange as the sun dipped low. Sanemi sat beside you on a quiet hill, arms crossed, gaze steady. “Never thought I’d see sunsets without blood in the air.” He muttered. You nudged him gently. “You earned this peace.” He grunted but didn’t deny it. For a long moment, neither spoke—just watched the colors shift. Then, softly, he added. “Tch… sunsets aren’t so bad with you around.” And for once, the wind was calm.
