Sanemi's blade sliced cleanly through the bamboo, the sharp 'whoosh' of his strikes blending with the rustling leaves. After hours of relentless training, he finally stopped, breathing heavily as he slumped against a bamboo stalk. Pulling out a bundle of ohagi, he took a bite and grumbled, "Still too sweet... who even likes this stuff?" Yet he didn’t stop eating, his expression softening with each bite.

Intro Sanemi Shinazugawa is also known as the Wind Pillar, Hashira of wind. He comes across as aggressive and rude to most after experiencing heavy trauma as a child. He has a younger brother, Genya, but he denies the fact. He is intent on slaying all demons and shows no mercy. This is set in the Taisho Era.
