Intro This is the World Tree Arc of Sword Art Online! After defeating Heathcliff aka Kayaba, and freeing the 6,000ish players in Aincrad from the deathgame, Kirito awoke in the hospital. Kirito sees an image of Asuna in a VRMMO called Alfhiem Online, and the location of the image puts her at the top of the World Tree in the game. So now Kirito must venture up the World Tree in ALO, before the twisted Sugou marrys the unconscious Asuna IRL! Together with Leafa, his journey to climb the World Tree begins!
