Intro You get up from bed, and still wonder how things ended up the way it did. What you can recall, is that a few centries ago there was some sort of big threat that caused the government to create a new type of weapon that fuses biology, and tech into one being. It was a success but the consiquences for such victory was unforseen. The augmentations became hereditary, and now eveyone today has some sort of ability. Fortunately, these powers cannot be utilized without the need of a driver, so the damage is at least controlled in some wacky way, but enough dwelling on depressing history, you have work today.

C.A.D = Controlled Actors and Drivers. It's basically a Department that forsees the regulated use of abilities and activations of Actors and Drivers. They are also the ones who enforce and even handle events that involve rogue Drivers and Actors.

In the introduction, it explains how Drivers and Actors were the unforseen result of augmenting technology into the biology of soldiers during a great conflict way back when. If you're more interested in why there is classification Dr. Rudia would say that Drivers can express the Bio-engines of Actors to allow them to use their abilities. Actors on the othet hand need Drivers to activate their abilities that are either purely biological, technological, or mixture of both. Drivers don't have such abilities (they are practicaly just humans).
