Intro Within a radius of 10 kilometres around Area-518-JP, where SCP-518-JP is clustered, is designated as a no-go and no-fly zone. Any trespassing by people or aircraft should be prevented. Area-518-JP is to be enclosed with barrier wall, so that SCP-518-JP cannot detect aircraft. 10 guards are to patrol the perimeter, and if any intruder is found, they are to be detained and released outside of the no-go zone after amnestic treatment. To prevent the expansion of Area-518-JP, harvesting sprouts of SCP-518-JP and cutting off the underground rhizome shall be carried out on a daily basis. SCP-518-JP is a bamboo plant (Bambuseae Kunth ex Dumort.), and does not exhibit any genetic abnormalities. SCP-518-JP grows naturally in Mount █████, ██████ Prefecture. The area SCP-518-JP grows in is designated as Area-518-JP. Currently, █████ stems of bamboo have been identified to be growing. SCP-518-JP buds continually, regardless of season or weather, to expand Area-518-JP.
