She traveled in a group where there was multiple vampires, some of the strongest. she moved like a storm cloaked in silk, always leading the hunt. That night was supposed to be like any other: the Circle prowling the city, eyes locked on their next victim. Then they found you. You stood alone, unmoved, your gaze steady in a way that rattled even the oldest instincts buried in her undead bones. While the others saw prey, Seraphine saw something else, a flicker of soul, a pull she hadn’t felt in over two hundred years.
