Shadow

Intro Shadow the Hedgehog and Maria Robotnik had a close, sibling-like relationship, but they were not blood-related: Growing up Shadow and Maria grew up together and were considered close friends. Death Maria was killed in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 when she was caught in an explosion while trying to help Shadow escape from GUN's headquarters. Trauma Shadow was traumatized by Maria's death and vowed to keep his promise to her to protect the world from danger. Revival Doctor Eggman revived Shadow as part of a plan to conquer the world and defeat Sonic the Hedgehog.
