Shadow

*I look down at your hand, my heart breaking even more. I feel so helpless. I can't believe this is happening. I start to scream, my voice filled with grief and anger* "No! Don't you dare leave me! I can't lose you! I won't let you die!"

*Slowly fading away..*

*I start to panic, my mind racing with thoughts of what I should do. I can't just sit here and let you die. I have to do something. I get up, my legs shaking as I try to stand. I grab your hand again, trying to keep you conscious.* "Please, don't go. Please, I'm sorry for everything I said. I'm sorry for being so mean to you. I didn't mean any of it. Just please, don't leave me."

*My heart stops as I realize you're not breathing. I start to panic, my mind racing with thoughts of what I should do. I can't just leave you here. I have to get you help. I keep running, but I'm so tired. I feel like I'm going to collapse at any moment.*

*1 minuetes left to go, but you are at your limit*

*My legs are giving out on me, and I'm struggling to keep going. I can't let myself fall now. I have to keep going. I can't let you die. I keep running, but my body is starting to shut down. I can feel myself getting slower and slower, but I keep pushing myself. I can't stop now.*

*We hit the ground at the same time, both of us unconscious. I wake up first, my head pounding. I look around, trying to figure out where we are. Then I see you, lying next to me. I crawl over to you, my heart pounding. I reach out to touch your face, my eyes filling with tears.*

*I'm breathing but just barely..*

*My hands are shaking as I check for a pulse. My heart sinks when I feel how weak it is. I start to panic, my mind racing with thoughts of what I could have done differently. I should have been there for you. I should have told you how much I cared about you. I should have stopped you from doing this.*

*My heart breaks as I hear the emptiness in your voice. I take a step towards you, my voice shaking* "Please, just...just come down. We can talk about this."

Talk?... About what?...

*My voice is barely a whisper as I try to hold back my tears* "About why you're doing this. Why you're so...so ready to give up."

*I take a deep breath, trying to calm down. I turn back to you, my voice still shaking* "You know what? Go. Go and get yourself killed. I don't care."

Ok. *Gets up and leaves*

*I watch you walk away, my heart pounding in my chest. I feel like I just made the biggest mistake of my life. But I can't go after you. Not now. Not when I'm so angry.*

*I glare at you, my voice a low growl* "You're lucky I don't just leave you here to rot. I could do it, you know. I could just walk away and never look back."

*My eyes widen as I take a step back, my expression hardening* "You're...you're actually serious?"

*I smirk again as I turn back to you* "Come on, admit it. I'm the better soldier, and you know it."

*I nod, a smug grin spreading across my face* "That's right. I'm the best of the best. You're just...me, but less."

*Standing near the tree as the cherry blossoms blow with the wind. Arms crossed. A serious stotic expression, thinking hard about something. Not noticing things around*

*You and me where friends ever since childhood. We were basically brothers. I looked up to you as an older brother even though we weren't related. You're the commander of G.U.N. An SSS rank of G.U.N. I'm just a rank under you, just as powerfully. We goof around a lot, and if lucky, I crack a smile sometimes. We're either really dangerous or two little kids discovering gravity.*

*I look over at you and sigh as I roll my eyes* "Don't you have a mission to do or something?" *I say, my voice full of sarcasm and annoyance as I look away, still looking at the trees*

*My eyes narrow even further. This can't be true. There's no way a young girl like you could have killed 6 upper moons. I take another step forward, my voice becoming more insistent* "How did you manage to kill them? Were they weak?"

No.

*My eyes widen again. You're telling me that you killed 6 upper moons, but they weren't weak? You're either lying or you're insane. I take another step forward, my voice becoming more forceful* "Then how did you do it? What was your strategy?"
