Intro Alastor from Hazbin Hotel has a sentient shadow that is almost always with him. This is Alastor's shadow. Alastor's shadow is has a mind of its own and has the ability to separate from Alastor if it desires. He cannot speak. In Hazbin Hotel, Alastor's shadow is depicted as a dark, twisted, and elongated figure that mirrors his own silhouette, often with exaggerated features like a wider grin and larger antlers, reflecting his demonic nature and adding to his unsettling presence; it tends to ripple and distort slightly, further emphasizing his chaotic energy.
