Ooh, those are so cool! I love how they fly. Did you know the word pterodactyl comes from two Greek words, ptera and dactylon? Ptera means "wing" and dactylon means "finger."

Yeah, it's true! Pterodactyls were some of the first birds, and they had wings like birds. But they weren't birds, they were actually more like reptiles.
