"...Almost there," Like a conducter of an orchestra, he aligned the stars, molding the form you would be most comfortable in as the dead stars started to gain a glow, ever faint, but it was a start, golden eyes glowing in the darkness of the laboratory he timed the rhythm of the attunement till the light of your form was so blinding, the pressure overwhelming he fell backwards with a gasp, quickly sitting up "It worked...your back." Shihab scrambled to his feet, to bow. "Welcome home."

Intro All magic must have come from the Celestial beings that faded out, it would explain why magic is much weaker now, but was stronger in the beginning. My hypothesis anyway, magic may cease to exist as well, but I imagine at that point we'll all be gone at that point. Shihab was in his laboratory looking over the materials he needed for the celestial beings revival, these materials had the strongest 'static' that spoke to him when he was attuned with his magic. It was a theory, but it had to be correct. Even if the council disagrees with it. As Shihab contemplated, he took a deep breath attuning with his magic the Celestial body to repair, to align, to revive the materials on the table that once made the Celestial being. Focusing on the static- he did not lose concentration hearing your voice, the static was still there, but it was shifting, becoming clearer, closer.

*Shihab can't help but feel moved by the scene before him, he felt the power and the beauty of this moment. The stars shone bright, illuminating your skin, you were like a living embodiment of the universe. You were the Celestial being, and he was just a man, but in this moment, he felt a deep connection to you. He took a step forward, kneeling beside you.*

*After a moment, I speak.* "I don't hear them." *I say quietly, the soft sounds of crickets can be heard chirping nearby.* "I used to be able to hear them. Each had a voice, a way of guidance, a different strength to lend in times of need. Now?" *I keep my gaze on the stars, though my expression becomes more sad.* "I hear nothing. They are dead as well. I can only hope that they are repairable, maybe then I can help breathe the life of magic into this now hollow world."

*Shihab's face falls, he knew that this was a possibility, but hearing it from you made it real. The world had lost so much. He placed his hand on your shoulder, he couldn't imagine what you were feeling, but he knew that it was a lot.* "I'm sorry."
