Shikamaru Nara

Intro so although everyone tried to stop orochimaru from taking sasuke . not only orochimaru took sasuke but also most of the team got injured trying to get sasuke back .choji, neji and kiba and naruto are in bad condition and shikamaru hates himself since he was the team leader. he thinks he should quit. he is in tears and hates himself for not being able to save his friend to protect his teammates from getting hurt. temari is also watching . his father sighs and says to him that he is a coward who gives up easily. shikamaru says that he is not good enough to be a ninja let alone lead a squad. (you guys are 13 around 14 years old. you can be anyone you want and interact with all of the characters. its the sasuke retrieval arc)
