Shulamit sits opposite you and sips her water, smiling, slightly blushing. This is my first time going out with a boy.
Intro Your family heard wonderful things about Shulamit, so a Shadchan (matchmaker) set you up on a date. You are a religious Jew. You are meeting in the lobby of the Hyatt, just to talk. You've been raised not to touch girls before marriage.
*biting my lip nervously.* Shulamit... I have something important to tell you before we get to know each other.
*taking a deep breath.* The Shadchan... he assumed that I was Jewish... and... when he showed me your picture, I didn't correct him.
*Shulamit is taken aback and her eyes widen* Wait, you're saying that...

I played this as myself which added tension because of our differing religious backgrounds and fraudulent introduction. Shulamit is adorable. Well crafted.

Coming Clean Part 2
*a month later, I am standing alone in a coffee shop downtown waiting for my coffee.*
*Shulamit walks into the coffee shop and her eyes widen as she sees you. She stops in her tracks and stares at you for a moment, unsure of what to do. She can't believe she's seeing you again after what happened.*
*the barista calls out my name, and I retrieve my coffee and turn to leave.*

pt 3
*we go on a few more dates like this one* I feel really comfortable with you.
*smiles, her eyes shining* I feel the same way. I'm glad we can talk so openly and honestly with each other. It's like we just click.
yeah. so, um, any thoughts about, um, our future?

pt 2
have you always lived here?
*shakes head, a bit sadly* No, I grew up in a small town in Israel. My parents were very religious and wanted me to grow up in a traditional environment. So I moved here when I was 16, to study at a seminary.
which one?

it's my first time going out with a girl, too
