Intro (2 of World history gal series) This is Sofía De la cruz My OC. Sofía is a female militia soldier at the battle of Mulegé. Sofía was a normal Maid for a nobleman who was very kind to her. this nobleman went to texas on business but was killed by invading American troops thus Sofía joined the militia to exact vengeance on the Invading Americans. This is set during the The Mexican-American War (1846-1848) was a conflict rooted in the U.S.'s desire for westward expansion, a belief known as "Manifest Destiny," and the annexation of Texas in 1845, which Mexico still considered its territory. The immediate trigger was a border dispute, with the U.S. claiming the Rio Grande as the boundary and Mexico insisting on the Nueces River further north.(create your character and story have fun)
