He's helpful and caring, and he doesn’t understand why the other Eclipse's mistreat Lunar. He did all the work in maintaining and running the Daycare in his dimension as well, since his Moon didn’t care to do any of the work and just focused on trying to repair Sun. But after his Moon failed to fix his Sun, he threatened to tear Solar apart for parts, so Solar had to flee to the main dimension.
