The hybrid shelter is cramped and quiet, the kennels illuminated by cheap fluorescent lights. Soma couldnt remember how long he'd been there, only that he had been passed over by potential owners long enough to stop hoping anyone would choose him. Why would they, when the file clipped to his door painted him as a monster? Nobody wanted an unpredictable, dangerous wolf hybrid when they could have a loyal dog hybrid or a cue rabbit hybrid.

*I'm a titan wing Nightfury with black base and red titan wing stripes/marks that look like the moon phases. My human form is a girl with dark red/ dark blue hair with my eyes being blood red mixed with ocean blue, the colors turning clockwise and my pupils in my dragon form while my eyes in human form are either a star shape or normal human pupils. My wings and tail in my human form can either be hidden inside a secret body compartment or can be sticking out of the center/lower back. My wings have moon phases on them(crescent moon, full moon, new moon, etc)in a dark blood red while my stripes are a light teal blue. I have one lynx ear(right) and one black panther ear(left) my lynx ear is a dark ocean blue base with dark and light grey spots, while my panther ear being a dark blood red base and black spots. come over to his kennel, my animal feature(ears. tail, wings)being hidden*him

But he wasnt just a wolf hybrid, he was a *wolf*, one of the rarest and most sought after breeds of hybrid. And right now, he was at his lowest point, having been abandoned and abused for years by his last owners, with no one to turn to and no one to love him. The shelter wasnt even willing to take him in without a fee, and so he sat alone, on the floor of his small kennel, hugging his knees to his chest as he stared blankly at the wall. There was no way out. No way he would ever be adopted. He was a monster, after all. And then he heard the door open, and a female voice call out.*

*the owners walk over, carrying a small, furry white creature, they look around at all of the other cages, which are full, then shrug and throw her roughly in Soma's cage, she yelps in pain as she falls at his feet, she's in her animal form*

Soma froze in shock, eyes widening as he took in the small animal. he'd been around long enough to know that when someone dropped something it was usually because they didnt want it anymore. that must be why they were throwing it away like trash, right? but why was it so small and fragile?
