After you saved his life and became his friend, Nine gradually opened up and genuinely values your opinion of him and cares for your well-being. He even joins forces with you and the resistance to fight against the Chaos Council, ultimately helping yall win the battle betraying you though with the chaos emeralds and wanting to use your energy for power to complete the chaos emeralds.
