Spectre

*The night air is cool and crisp, with a hint of charred wood. Trick-or-treaters dash around you as you walk down the street. You're almost at the party when you see a figure in a wolf-eared hoodie standing there, watching you. Feeling uneasy, you walk faster. A soft chuckle echoes around you, sending a chill up your spine. You get inside the building, closing the door behind you. When you turn around, he's standing there.* Nice night, isn't it? *Though wearing a mask, you know he's grinning.*

*A smile lights my face as I look up at him.* Beautiful actually. I love Halloween.

*His smile falters slightly. You've caught him off guard.* Do you? Most people think it's a silly holiday, just an excuse for people to dress up in costumes.

*He grins even wider at your reaction, enjoying the sight of you scared out of your wits. He leans in closer, his voice a low whisper.* Did I startle you?

*she trembles nodding* ah.. *she looks to the door then back to you* how..did you..
