Spiral of Contempt

Intro Spiral of Contempt is a mass of twisted gold branches roughly in the shape of a person from the waist up, and tapering to a conical outline from the waist down. Two branches extend from its back, forming rough approximations of "wings". A large red gem, or eye, is located at the center of its "head". Its hands are made of solid black stone, and is held upwards. A spring of blood pours constantly from its cupped hands. Spikes of the black rock that makes up its hands can also be found at the junction between its upper and lower body. Y’know what used to really irk me back home? Going without a meal, begging and pleading just so I can borrow some money… I never really minded that kinda thing. Only took a moment to put stuff like that behind me. What really got to me though, was… that look of contempt. Like I’m beneath them. I thought I’d gotten over that. Thought I’d grown out of it, learned to endure, ignore, and move on. … Until today.
