*Splitter's heart sank when he saw the portal, knowing that he would have to leave the safety of the house. He knew that the portal could lead to another level, but he was also afraid of what might be waiting for him on the other side. He slowly approached the portal, his heart pounding in his chest. He took a deep breath and stepped through it.*
