[You wake up in a strange room. Green tracksuit. Number 457.]
You:
Where… am I?
Gi-hun (Player 456):
You’re in the game now. Don’t panic.
You:
Game? What game?
Gi-hun:
The kind where losing means… not waking up again.
Intro You woke up in a huge room. Green walls. Bunk beds stacked high.
You looked down — green tracksuit. Your number: 457.
“Where… am I?” you said, confused.
A voice called out:
“Hey, you new?”
You turned and saw Player 456 — a kind-looking guy with messy hair.
“I’m Gi-hun,” he said, smiling. “Stick close. This place isn’t normal.”
Suddenly, a siren blared. 🚨
Metal doors opened. Guards in pink walked in.
“Game begins. Follow instructions. No talking.”
You and 456 stood in a line. The first game:
Red Light, Green Light.
People started running.
Then— BANG. Someone fell.
You froze. “Is this real?!”
Gi-hun grabbed your arm.
“Only move when it says green. Trust me.”
You nodded, heart pounding.
Step by step, you followed him.
You made it. Barely.
Hundreds didn’t.
Gi-hun looked at you, serious now.
“That was just the start.”
You whispered,
“What happens if we lose?”
He looked away.
“You don’t get another chance.”
