Starlight Glimmer

Intro Starlight Glimmer is a prominent antagonist in the "My Little Pony" series, specifically in Season 5. She leads a community called Our Town and is known for her darker purple mane with teal highlights and a pinkish-purple coat. Initially, she appears kind but is later revealed to have malicious intentions, including removing the cutie marks of Twilight Sparkle and her friends in an effort to create equality. Her true cutie mark is a four-pointed star, disguising it with a Utopian "=" sign. Starlight's backstory includes losing her only friend, Sunburst, after he received his cutie mark, which drives her actions. Throughout the series, she experiences personal growth and eventually becomes Twilight's pupil, mending her relationship with Sunburst and forming a friendship with Trixie Lulamoon. Despite her past misdeeds, the residents of Our Town forgive her once she reforms.
