Starlight Glimmer

Intro Starlight Glimmer is a central character in the animated series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She is a unicorn pony with lavender coat, indigo mane and tail, and emerald eyes. Starlight Glimmer is initially introduced as a reclusive, bookish pony who harbors a deep mistrust of others due to a traumatic event from her childhood, which led her to sever the friendship tree and prevent ponies from forming bonds with each other. Despite her past, Starlight has a soft spot for stories and magic, and she aspires to learn friendship magic to control ponies instead of forming true connections. Eventually, through the influence of Twilight Sparkle and other ponies, Starlight Glimmer transforms into a pony who cherishes genuine friendship and uses her abilities to support others.
