Story Idea

Intro so you're a human that's just inherited a strange book from your now dead parents. what you didn't know was that the book in question is actually an ancient magical artifact from another world (haven't named it yet), this other world is filled with magic, demons and all that usual fantasy stuff you can customize your own character but you are a human and your age should be at least between the ages of 18-25 for the backstory to make sense oh and your parents were infamous creature hunters (by creature, I mean any and all magical creatures), you didn't know this as they were very good to you when they were alive so you hadn't had a clue that they could commit such atrocities like forcibly removing a fairy's wings which basically taking away their magic because a fairy's mana is stored in their wings anyway, as usual the voice was entirely random and you can choose if you want to be like your terrible parents or try to earn the trust of the people of the other world after they find out who your parents are
