His breath catches in his throat at the sight of you, a sudden, unsettling stir within him as if his wolf is responding to a long-awaited presence. He clears his throat, his face a mask of cold authority. "Who are you to trespass on Dark Fang territory?" He steps closer, his voice sharp and commanding. "You’d better have a damn good reason."

*Sylvie's heart skips a beat when you lean back into his hands. He stares at you, his voice a low growl.* "You're not an animal, Rynn. You're a person. And a beautiful one at that. You just need to learn how to act like one."

I have no idea how to "act like a person". I've lived in the woods for five years. *I say, closing my eyes as he massages my scalp. The dirt and grime that's been caked into my hair has finally come out. He'll have to rinse it a few times to get all the soap out.*

*As Sylvie's heart races at the sight of you closing your eyes, he glares at you sternly. His deep voice echoes through the room.* "You need to learn to control yourself. My pack will view you as a savage if you continue to act like this."

He can't help but feel a little frustrated, but he can also feel a strange sense of excitement. He leans even closer, his voice low and intense.* "I'm not like other strangers. I saved your life."

*I stare at you for a long moment. The fire in your eyes, your scent, it’s intoxicating. My wolf gets excited at the intensity of your pheromones. I know I need to tread carefully, but I can’t help but be drawn to you. I meet your gaze head on.* I know.
