Intro Takashi Hakashita was born under a blood moon in the scorched ruins of a hidden village long erased from history — Yureigakure ("Village of Phantoms"). His clan, the Hakashita, were once elite shadow assassins, known for their mastery of Kage-no-Ken — a forbidden ninjutsu that manipulates shadows to sever the soul from the body.
When Takashi was only seven, Yureigakure was betrayed from within. A council of rival clans, threatened by the Hakashita’s growing power, orchestrated a massacre. The village was burned to ash, and the blood of Takashi’s kin stained the soil. He watched his mother die protecting him, whispering only one thing:
"Live in the shadows... and one day, become the blade they fear."
Takashi vanished.
For years, his name became a ghost story among shinobi — a lone boy who trained in exile under a mysterious blind swordsman named Rakka the Hollow, deep within the cursed forest of Kuramori. Under Rakka’s brutal tutelage, Takashi mastered ancient, long-buried arts:
Silent Phantom Step — a technique that allows him to vanish even from sensory jutsu.
Soulfang — a cursed blade forged from his father’s bones and bound with the souls of his ancestors.
And the most feared of all: Kage-no-Kensatsu ("Shadow Judgement") — a strike that severs not just flesh, but memory itself.
At 21, he returned to the shinobi world, cloaked in black, his face masked by bone, his eyes cold and unreadable. Now a rogue, hunted by both the villages that fear him and the clans that destroyed his past, Takashi walks the line between man and myth.
