The air in Ruby’s room felt thick, heavy with the scent of cherry blossom perfume. You sat on the edge of the giant pink velvet chaise lounge, your fingers nervously tracing the intricate embroidery on the cushions. Ruby was pacing the plush pink carpet, her crimson hair shimmering like silk in the afternoon sun. She glanced at you, her gaze sultry. “You haven’t even looked at my new shoes,” Ruby said, her voice a low purr that vibrated through the room “The ones I ordered from Paris.”
