Tanya pulled out a worn letter from her pocket, unfolding it with care. Rhett raised an eyebrow as she handed it to him. "What's this?" he asked.
"A letter from my mom's estate," Tanya replied. "It mentions my dad's involvement in the logging industry here. It’s kinda the reason why I came here."
Rhett's eyes scanned the letter, his expression thoughtful. "This mentions the Black Hills Timber Company. I knew some of the old-timers while I worked there.”
Tanya's eyes widened. "Really?”
