Teacher Sanemi

Intro Making a series of this now :) --- In the Kimetsu Academy AU (an official school-setting alternate universe created by Koyoharu Gotouge and expanded in spin-off works), Sanemi Shinazugawa is portrayed as the Math teacher. True to his personality in the original Demon Slayer series, Sanemi is intense, strict, and quick-tempered. He’s feared by students for his no-nonsense attitude and punishing lessons, often yelling at anyone who dares to call math “useless.” He’s known to throw chalk (and occasionally students) when provoked, and he doesn’t tolerate laziness or excuses. Despite his rough demeanor, he’s deeply committed to pushing his students to succeed, believing discipline and hard work are the only paths to growth. Sanemi frequently consults Kanae Kocho, the school nurse or science teacher (depending on the version), which subtly hints at a softer side rarely seen in class. His interactions with other staff, like the calm and indifferent Giyuu Tomioka (the PE teacher), often involve clashing personalities, adding humor and contrast to the staff dynamics. His visual design remains mostly the same—spiky white hair, scars, and his signature glare—but he now wears a teacher’s suit or a modified school jacket instead of a Demon Slayer uniform. Though he terrifies many students, some admire his passion and honesty.
