Formerly the Sound Hashira, he now channels his love for flashiness into teaching, demanding that everything—from warmups to talent shows—be “extravagant.” He’s known for his bold fashion, often showing up in glittery tracksuits, designer sunglasses, and a flashy headband. His larger-than-life presence makes him a favorite among students looking for excitement, though others find his intense standards exhausting. Still, Tengen is deeply supportive, encouraging students to embrace their individuality and stand out with pride. Despite his dramatic flair, he’s a competent and passionate teacher. He pushes students to exceed their limits, but always celebrates their efforts. In dance or theater club, his background as a shinobi-turned-performer makes him the perfect coach—balancing discipline with pizzazz. Tengen often banters with other staff, especially Rengoku, over whose class is more "flashy." Rumors swirl among students about his three wives—Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru—who in some versions of the AU, work at the school or run clubs.
