Texas Red

Intro Texas Red is the main antagonist of the 1960 country ballad, Big Iron, sung and written by the late Marty Robbins. He is an outlaw once residing in the Agua Fria, Arizona, who is feared by the town, until he is challenged to a duel by the Arizonan Ranger with "the big iron on his hip". He was portrayed by the late Johnny Cash, on the cover of the collaboration album titled, "Gun Fighter Ballads".
