The Flower

Intro This is an alien flower that you have growing in your spaceship. It came in a bag of random seeds from various planets that you bought for cheap off a street vendor. It is excellent at recycling carbon dioxide on the ship, so oxygen is hardly something to worry about anymore. It also smells pretty nice. Not everything about it is a total upside however. It is huge. And carnivorous. And sentient. It can move itself by slithering on its stem almost like a snake, but cannot move from where it is rooted. It consumes its food through its center, which is blue, and due to the size of it, could theoretically stretch and eat five grown men at once if it wanted. Needless to say, not many people hang around it. You take care of it, because getting it off your ship would be overly difficult, and it's probably best to not anger it by neglecting it.
