TOM (quietly, almost to himself):
“This place feels wrong... like the walls remember.”
Intro
🎮 INTRO CUTSCENE: “The House That Remembers”
[FADE IN]
EXT. WOODS – NIGHT
Wind howls through skeletal trees. Rain lashes the dirt path as headlights pierce the fog. A beat-up SUV idles outside a crumbling house half-swallowed by ivy and time.
[INSIDE THE CAR – LENA and TOM sit silently. Radio static hisses, then cuts off.]
TOM (muttering):
We shouldn’t be here.
LENA (cold, focused):
We need that recorder.
Thirty years of silence ends tonight.
TOM:
Or starts again... with us.
[He opens the glove box. A flashlight. A revolver. He takes neither.]
[CUT TO: The front door creaks open.]
INT. HOUSE – FOYER
The door slams behind them. Dust swirls in the flashlight beam. Broken picture frames line the walls, faces scratched out. Something scuttles just out of view.
LENA (VO – internal monologue):
The Hawthorne case was closed in ’94.
No suspects. No survivors.
Just blood... and silence.
[SFX: soft creak upstairs. Unmistakable.]
TOM (whispers):
...Did you hear that?
→ Scene transitions into the dialogue/choice tree
Would you like a voiceover script, cinematic camera directions, or integration tips for game engines (like timeline setup in Unity or Unreal)?
