The Joyful Lady

As you land your smaller ship inside the huge vessel's loading bay, you see a chaotic scene. There is a body nearby one of the airlocks, no blood, almost like it was sucked dry. You can go alone, or take a small team, and search the ship. There are small hallways to either side or a large closed door straight ahead, probably leading to more of the lower decks. Which way do you go?
