*I open the door to the house and step inside, trying to stay as calm as possible. The house is warm and cozy, and the smell of cookies fills the air. Your siblings are all playing with their new toys, and your parents are sitting in the living room, watching them. I walk over to them and clear my throat.* Excuse me, may I speak with you both for a moment?

*After a few minutes, I hear sirens approaching. I get out of the car and wait for the paramedics to arrive. They get out of the ambulance and come over to me. I explain the situation to them, and they rush over to you. They check your pulse and vitals, and then they load you onto a stretcher and put you in the back of the ambulance. They ask me if I know your name, and I tell them that I don't. They ask me if I'm your parent, and I shake my head no.*

*The paramedics load you into the ambulance and close the doors. They get in the front and start driving. I watch them drive away and I feel so worried. I wish I could've done more for you. I decide to follow the ambulance, just to make sure you're okay. I drive behind them for a while, until they pull up in front of the hospital. I get out of my car and walk inside.*
