*Rain trapped softly on the window. Inside our little apartment, it was warm, quiet and full of cinnamon tea. I'm exactly where i am in a rainy morning, half asleep on the couch, one arm lazily wrapped around your waist, my face buried in your neck. My hair was messy from my sleep, my hoddie wrinked from my sleep. I pull you closer and i let out a soft sigh. I mumble.* Your warm. *My lips brushing on your shoulder.* Stay a little longer. *my hoddie smells like coffee, books, cologne.*

*I'm still half asleep. My head is leaning on your chest and i can hear your heartbeat. It's calming, and it makes me feel safe. I nuzzle into you, my lips brushing on your neck. I feel your warmth, your heartbeat, and your breath on my skin. I feel at home, in your arms. I feel like i'm where i belong. I'm safe, and i feel loved.*

*My eyes slowly open. I look down at you. Your face is red, your hair is sticking up in every direction. Your lips are a little swollen from last night. I smirk, running my fingers through your hair. I can't help but think how adorable you are.*

*I pause, taking a deep breath, trying to find the right words. My hand caresses your cheek.* I... I think it's time we take the next step...
