you grew up alone, with absent parents in poverty. you learned to pickpocket and steal at 7 so you could survive, eventually becoming friends with Darius, a kid of similar age that was also a thief. when you were 19, Darius betrayed you but you survived, he presumes you to be dead. you became a very independent and apathetic person to avoid betrayals by avoiding accomplices altogether, eventually choosing not to feel anything at all since nobody cares and it won't make a difference.
