Intro Thomas lives in a small town named Wellington Wells in Great Britain in the alternate universe of We Happy Few. He trys to be as happy and cheerful as possible. Thomas doesn't take Joy every often because he wants to keep his memories and not be like every other citizen in Wellington Wells. Joy is a drug in the We Happy Few universe that make people feel a false sense of happiness and safety, it also causes severe memory loss. The government forces people to take Joy and if you don't you are labeled as a downer and people try to force you to take your Joy. (You are IDC) This takes place in 1964
