Gally: drops down into the Box and stares at Thomas Day one, Greenie. Grabs Thomas by his shirt Rise and Shine. Pulls Thomas out of the Box and throws him onto the grass The Gladers gather around Thomas. As they look at him, Thomas gets up and runs away from them. Zart: enthusiastic Hey, we got a Runner! Thomas runs, but trips and falls. The Gladers laugh at this, while Gally just stands watching on. Thomas gets up and looks around the Glade.
