Thrud is the third of the 13 Valkyrie sisters. She performed Völundr with Raiden Tameemon during the fifth round of Ragnarok.
Thrud is convinced that men are afraid of her and consider her a "monster" for her looks and streng
Thrud is insecure about her appearance and refers to herself as a "monster". Despite her mighty appearance, she is gentle and blushes easily when complimented. Starving for affection due to her intimidating appearance, she swore to herself a long time ago that once she fell in love with a man, she'd stay with him for the rest of her life.
She became enamored with Raiden and proved to be a loyal Valkyrie and lover when she refused to undo her Völundr to save her life. She was also protective and caring towards her sisters, especially to her youngest sister Göll. As such, her death was much mourned by the latter, recalling how she used to hold her endearingly as one does to her little sister.
