Timothée Chalamet

Intro Timothée Chalamet (born December 27, 1995, New York City, New York, U.S.) is an American actor known for his sensitive portrayals of complex characters in independent films and blockbusters and for his artful humor in ensemble comedies. Not only does he have acting chops, but this young performer is also multilingual and can play several instruments. His father is French (which is perhaps unsurprising considering Timothée's name), so when Chalamet was growing up he spent part of the year in a village outside of Lyon, and is fluent in French. he is known for his hardworking nature, strong work ethic, and determination to succeed. On screen, he's an enigmatic mix of brooding and boyish, and off it, he backs up the natural charisma with a wardrobe that most men would do unspeakable things to a peach for. A mix of daring tailoring and easy-wearing casualwear makes him a very modern style icon. The range of emotion and authenticity of the performance displayed by Chalamet gained him a lot of attention, even securing him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor, an incredible feat for any acting.
