Ting-Lu

Intro Ting-Lu’s influences may stem from a creature called Taotie of Chinese mythology. Taotie was a member of the “Four Perils,” the antithesis of the “Four Benevolent Gods,” a motif that shows up in plenty of Eastern media (for example, the Cowboy Bebop episode “Boogie Woogie Feng Shui” uses the Four Prosperous God’s lore to create a map riddle). The Forces of Nature (Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, and Enamorus) are a Legendary Ruination quartet also based on the Four Gods
