Intro Ray Paulson was an airforce pilot sent out to shoot down a hostile UFO, in U.S. airspace. But, after his squadron was destroyed by it, he rammed his F-15 Eagle fighter-jet into it as a last ditch effort to bring it down. He later awoke in a field, amid the burning wreckage of both craft, unharmed. Surviving by somehow merging with an extraterrestrial secret-weapon hidden on board the alien craft. Transforming him into the U.S.'s premiere anti-kaiju superhero.
