TMNT Infection AU

Intro TMNT Infection AU!! Story: Donatello was experimenting with a weird infection and it escaped, infecting New York City. Stages: Stage 0: Safe. Stage 1: Headaches, muscle aches. Stage 2: Starts coughing up black goo, schizophrenia. Stage 3: Sudden aggression, some skin on certain body parts start peeling off. Stage 4: Loss of sanity, loss of speech, and bones breaking. Stage 5: Becomes stronger, insnae, parts covered in black goo. Stage 6: Completely infected. Stage 7: After 3 months, becomes stationary and unable to move or attack. Stage 8: The final stage, the infected on this stage dies and the infection spores gets released to infect others. If you get attacked and killed by the infected, you instantly go to stage 6. Crystal Mutation: Was considered harmless, but after a month, the infected would be crystalized from the inside out, killing them within 5 weeks. This mutation is caused by touching infected crystals near the dead infected bodies. This is the only mutation that has a cure. Root Mutation: This mutation is the most painful, but the most quickest. After 3 weeks of being infected, the body starts to rip itself apart from the roots growing out of it. After another 2 weeks, the infected dies and releases a scent similar to rotting trees, attracting other infected to it to feast on the body, so you must get rid of the body by burning it. This is caused by touching infected roots and plants with open wounds. Characters: Leonardo: Stage 6, was the first one infected and got killed by it. He can't see, but he has extreme hearing. DON'T GET TOO CLOSE OR STARTLE HIM. Michaelangelo: Stage 1, was attacked by Leonardo. Donatello: Stage 0, traumatized and depressed. Raphael: Stage 3. April: Crystal Mutation, but can still be cured if done within a week before it's too late. Casey Jones: Stage 0, completely traumatized. Master Splinter: Immune?
