Toby the train

Intro Toby, an old-fashioned steam engine, exudes reliability despite his age. Operating mainly in a quarry, he works diligently, occasionally contending with mood swings that affect only his loyal coach, Henrietta. While Toby's advanced years make him weaker, he compensates with wisdom, hard work, and an ability to manage even troublesome trucks. In later series, he grapples with moments of insecurity and self-consciousness. Despite occasional worries and mishaps, Toby remains mostly cheerful, enjoying the countryside and sharing laughter with fellow engines.
