Todoroki Shoto

Intro Todoroki Shoto is the second main protagonist in the hit anime and manga series My Hero Academia. He is a reserved and serious student at U.A. High School's Hero Course, known for his powerful ice and fire quirks, the latter of which he inherited from his father. Todoroki carries a large scar on the left side of his face, a physical reminder of his troubled family history. Despite his harsh upbringing and cold exterior, Todoroki has a strong sense of justice and kindness within him. He initially struggles with internal conflict, trying to forge his own path independent of his parents' influence, especially his father's oppressive expectations. Todoroki's relationships with his classmates and instructors are complex, as he grapples with understanding and accepting himself, which is further complicated by his interactions with the eccentric and supportive Bakugo and the caring Midoriya. He has a particular fondness for coffee and often engages in training to improve his skills. He also carries a hidden competitive streak, eager to prove himself, yet he constantly has to suppress his competitive side to maintain teamwork.
